On Monday 5 October 2026, the Manchester Consular Association held a business meeting with Tom Stannard, Chief Executive of Manchester City Council, at the Romanian Consulate in Manchester. Mr Stannard was joined by Lisa Turner, International Programmes Lead at the City Council.
The meeting gave members of MCA the chance to hear directly from the City Council about its priorities and to discuss how the international community can contribute to the city's future.
The Association thanks Tom Stannard and Lisa Turner for their time and for an open and constructive exchange. We are especially grateful to Nicoleta Teodorovice, Consul General of Romania in Manchester, and her team for kindly hosting the meeting at Abbey House.
